Hi everyone, my name is
Erick Alvarez and I am currently 30 years old, living in Virginia Beach, VA. I
am first time blogger and wanted to take some time to talk a little bit what’s
on my mind these days. I think it is important to first introduce myself and
how I ended up in Virginia Beach. I was born and raised in Ventura County, CA,
little bit north of Los Angeles and lives majority of my life there. I enjoyed
a lot of things there and got the opportunity to live in Los Angeles, Santa
Barbara and other destination hot spot areas. I have worked for AT&T for 11
years now and was offered a big promotion in the Virginia area so I jumped on
the opportunity to expand my career. I have loved it and never looked back.
This has shaped me into what I am today and allows me to be very open to
experiencing new opportunities in my life.
Some
of things I love to do is to travel and see my friends all over the country. I
am passionate about sports in my life and I enjoy going to games as well. My
favorite sport to watch is soccer and love the concept of the World Cup and
what it means to a world united. It changes countries and regardless of
political issues or dislike for certain countries, it amazes me how it brings
people together for a common goal, to win and lift the trophy. It has always
been a bucket list item for me to go to a World Cup and I am hoping next Summer
to go to Russia and be able to experience that adventure.
